Gracie is thriving in her new home. She loves exploring her yard (which is mostly bark with a few trails—perfect for digging!) and has already claimed her wading pool, where she splashes around (and occasionally pees) multiple times a day. She’s taken to her crate so well that she even goes in voluntarily, and her adorable antics keep us smiling.
We’re actively socializing her by taking her to the pet store, drugstore, and on car rides, and we’ve had plenty of visitors to help her get used to new people. While she hasn’t played with other dogs yet, we’ve got a playdate scheduled for next week!
Training is going great—she’s incredibly smart and picks up on things quickly. We’re focusing on rewarding good behavior and gently ignoring the not-so-good moments. At 13 weeks old, Gracie has only been with us for two weeks, but it feels like she’s been part of our family forever. Thank you for bringing so much joy into our lives!"

I had wanted a dog for years. With no kids, my husband and I felt our home was a little too quiet, and we thought a puppy might bring some life and joy into our lives. We started our search at a shelter, but it was a disappointing experience—most dogs there were older pit bulls or had behavioral or medical issues, which we weren’t prepared to handle. That’s when I decided to look for a breeder.
I wanted a dog I could run with and train to do tricks, and the Bichon Frise seemed like the perfect fit. I began researching breeders, looking for someone responsible and transparent about the dog’s size (which was very important to me). By chance, I found Bichon Paradise. They sent me pictures of their puppies, and though I tried not to get too attached (after a previous heartbreak with another breeder), I fell in love immediately.
He was a tiny puppy with big, beautiful eyes and unique markings. When I took him for a run around the park, he kept looking up at me and following me everywhere. I knew right then he was meant to be mine.
Today, Cowboy (nickname Hotdog) is everything we could have hoped for and more. He’s the most social puppy—beloved by both humans and dogs at the park. He excelled in his training classes, impressing the instructor with how quickly he learned. He’s my daily running and hiking partner, and he loves playing chase in the yard. He’s a total snuggle bug and aims to please in everything he does. We’re even planning to start agility training soon!
I can’t thank Bichon Paradise enough for bringing Cowboy into our lives. From the moment we met him, he was perfect—tiny, with those big eyes and adorable markings. We couldn’t be more in love with our puppy! He was the last pup left in one of the litters, and I’m so glad we decided to bring him home because he’s absolutely amazing. Before Murry, I had never had a dog, but my husband was a big advocate for getting one—and now I’m completely hooked!
Murry is the sweetest, most loving dog with not a single mean bone in his body. He’s wonderful with our four young nieces and gets along beautifully with other dogs, too. Linus is three months old today! We brought him home a month ago, and it feels like he’s always been part of our family. He’s doing so well—sleeping in his crate at night and already knows commands like ‘sit,’ ‘stay,’ and ‘down.’ We’re also working on leash training with him.
His alter ego, ‘Puppy Piranha,’ is still going strong (he loves stealing towels and shoes whenever he gets the chance!), but we’re hopeful he’ll mellow out soon. Bichon Paradise did an incredible job raising him, and we’re so grateful for all the helpful articles and guidance they’ve provided along the way.
